Introducing the AW25 Art Collections
Get set for indoor season as Desenio launches three beautiful new art collections for AW25. With three very different aesthetics Spicy Revival, Curated Calm and Evolving Traditions combine broad influences, to create looks that will keep you inspired throughout the cooler months.
Expressive, retro & daring: Spicy Revival
Spicy Revival is where exuberant vintage styling meets a cosy palette of oranges, reds and browns with a sporadic blast of blue. This is a new take on Mid-Century Modern, where bold graphics, abstract and figurative art meet to create an inviting interior style.
Annica Wallin, Executive Creative Director at Desenio offers tips for bringing the Spicy Revival aesthetic to your home:
“Spicy Revival is for those drawn to the expressive freedom of the 1970s but want a curated, modern twist. The key is contrast: warm leathers and woods set a grounded base, while vibrant blues elevate and refresh.”
Chic, tranquil & elegant: Curated Calm
Curated Calm is all about using form, function and a minimal aesthetic to create a soothing and timeless home style. The focus is on neutral shades, allowing the figures within the art to take shape. With a more painterly feel to the collection, it’s a subtle yet sophisticated expression.
“Curated Calm distils the essence of quiet luxury. The artworks have a softness that invites pause, while chrome accents or sculptural steel details introduce a contemporary tension. It’s a modern minimalism that doesn’t feel cold, but elevated and human.” says Annica Wallin.
Heritage style for today: Evolving Traditions
Finally, we have a collection that encompasses a heritage-inspired style adapted to reflect contemporary lifestyles. It’s perfect for creating an irresistible reading nook, or a home office that will help you stay focussed. With green the dominating shade in many of the pieces in the collection, it is the contrast with light blue that gives the look a more contemporary twist.
Annica Wallin says,
“This trend invites personality into tradition. It’s about blending what’s inherited with what’s new; vintage wood furniture with bold contemporary art, muted greens with crisp light blues. The result is layered, personal, and full of narrative.”
