The very first edition of the Desenio Art Awards saw thousands of entries arrive from around the world. Seeing the range of talent, and discovering new and exciting artistic voices which we truly believe have such bright futures gives us a real sense of excitement for the future. To learn a little more about each of the artists, we met to discuss creative inspiration, their work and how it felt to win the award.

Pairing art is something of an artform in itself, and a kind of interior styling where you can get expressive and have a lot of fun. By making a connection through color, mood or expression, you can find a dynamic duo that will create a vibrant dialogue in your space. A little contrast here can be a very good thing, and there’s no need to automatically assume you need to match the frames and passepartouts.

We recently visited travel writer Nicole Kavander at home to help her find art for a few different rooms. The aim was not to create a polished, showroom-like home, but rather to ensure a warm, curated and personal home that felt collected over time. Nicole and her partner Alex were specific that every room should not match, though the overall tone should feel cohesive.

Lauren Watson is an influencer based in Cheshire, England, where she shares a beautiful top floor flat with a gorgeous Bengal cat named Bella. Known for inspiring content about travel, fashion and beauty, Lauren sees home as her safe space, and we were thrilled to help her decorate with new pieces from Decadent Nights.

The best spots in a home are often the ones you never planned for. A cosy bay window, a kitchen nook, or a seat by the window can quickly become your favourite place – where morning coffee lingers a little longer, dinners turn into long conversations, and everyday moments become something special. With a calm foundation, a few personal details, and art that sparks curiosity, even the smallest corner of your home can feel inviting and full of life. That's the feeling behind Curious Optimism – a collection where unexpected colour combinations and expressive motifs create spaces that feel creative, personal, and welcoming.
