Jules Villbrandt is a magazine founder and creative producer based in Berlin, Germany. We’ve been working with Jules for many years, but we were thrilled to travel to her cosy apartment with selected designs from the 2026 Holiday Collection for the latest Home Edit.

The very first edition of the Desenio Art Awards saw thousands of entries arrive from around the world. Seeing the range of talent, and discovering new and exciting artistic voices which we truly believe have such bright futures gives us a real sense of excitement for the future. To learn a little more about each of the artists, we met to discuss creative inspiration, their work and how it felt to win the award.

Pairing art is something of an artform in itself, and a kind of interior styling where you can get expressive and have a lot of fun. By making a connection through color, mood or expression, you can find a dynamic duo that will create a vibrant dialogue in your space. We recently visited travel writer Nicole Kavander at home to help her find art for a few different rooms. The aim was not to create a polished, showroom-like home, but rather to ensure a warm, curated and personal home that felt collected over time. Nicole and her partner Alex were specific that every room should not match, though the overall tone should feel cohesive.

Lauren Watson is an influencer based in Cheshire, England, where she shares a beautiful top floor flat with a gorgeous Bengal cat named Bella. Known for inspiring content about travel, fashion and beauty, Lauren sees home as her safe space, and we were thrilled to help her decorate with new pieces from Decadent Nights.
